The Expert Behind the Stethoscope

I trained to become a veterinarian at the University of Ghent (Belgium) and became an ECVIM-CA specialist in 2019 after completing a residency in Giessen (Germany). I have primarily worked in various European academic institutions (Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland), where I had the opportunity to expand my knowledge by working with experts from different fields and enjoyed discussing complex cases.
 
After working in private practice, I also experienced the additional challenges of financial constraints and limited access to diagnostic tools or specialist care.
 
That’s why I’m passionate about creating a supportive and approachable environment to help first-line vets feel more confident and, above all, less stressed about their cases.

The Person Behind the Expert

As a vet, you probably know how tricky it is to balance work and personal life. It took me a while to figure out how to reconnect with myself outside of work.

Right now, I’m combining travel and work while on the road with our dog Harper and our cat Nidalee. I’m learning to say yes to new experiences more often—and also reminding myself to slow down sometimes and just enjoy the quiet.
