I graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest, Romania, in 2018 and moved to the UK shortly afterwards, where I worked in small animal hospitals.
My professional journey has focused on diagnostic imaging, from clinical practice to consultancy roles, allowing me to develop expertise in ultrasound, CT, and other imaging modalities. I also completed a PhD in Diagnostic Imaging, further developing my academic and research experience in the field. In 2024, I became an RCVS Specialist in Diagnostic Imaging.
I am an active member of several professional organisations and have contributed to scientific publications and presentations. I am passionate about advancing veterinary care and continue to be involved in research, education, and hands-on clinical practice, with the aim of improving diagnostic accuracy and ultimately enhancing animal welfare. I am also actively involved in training and teaching sessions around the world, working with different organisations and veterinary professionals.
My favourite imaging modality is ultrasound, which I particularly enjoy teaching and sharing with others.
The Person Behind the Expert
I have a deep passion for travel and the great outdoors. There is nothing quite like hitting a new hiking trail, breathing in fresh air, and exploring nature.
My favorite adventures are shared with my wonderful fiancée and our spoiled dog, Jacko, who loves sleeping and food more than hiking, unfortunately.
When I am not outdoors, you will likely find me at home with a guitar in my hands or reading the latest radiology articles. Playing music is my ultimate escape, and I have a weak spot for collecting guitars — each one has its own unique story and sound.
