The Expert Behind the Stethoscope

I earned my veterinary degree in Madrid in 2014, where I also completed a rotating internship before spending my first year in general practice. Early on, I discovered a strong interest in diagnostic imaging, which led me to pursue two focused internships in Spain and the UK. From there, I worked as a referral ultrasonographer before embarking on a residency in Small Animal Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Bern. During my years in Bern, I expanded not only my clinical and research skills but also my interest in innovation, completing a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging. I became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI) in 2023 and subsequently served as a senior radiologist at the University of Bern. Today, I am working as a teleradiology consultant. My career path has given me the privilege of collaborating with specialists across the globe and has strengthened my commitment to providing clear, reliable, and supportive imaging guidance to veterinarians.

The Person Behind the Expert

Outside of the reading room, I’m rooted in lively downtown Madrid, where the energy of the city balances the intensity of my work. I love spending time with friends and family, and I recharge by getting outdoors whenever I can—especially in the mountains, whether that means snowboarding in winter or hiking through quiet trails in summer. Travel has become an important part of my life too, offering new scenery, new perspectives, and the occasional much-needed escape from the rhythm of daily routine. I’m continually learning how to create space for myself, stay active, and enjoy the moments that happen beyond the specialty.
