Is the issue crossing more than one discipline? With your permission, our specialists will collaborate across fields in a brief discussion to develop a more holistic, multidisciplinary plan. You’ll benefit from multiple expert perspectives—all working together for the best outcome.
We offer telemedicine in two types of support:
Case-based
Rounds-style
With the telemedicine service, we will review your patient’s history and any additional tests, address your questions, and gain a deeper understanding of the case. We believe that direct communication with the primary veterinarian enhances our ability to provide accurate, tailored advice—ultimately leading to more effective and satisfying outcomes. That is why we always schedule a call to discuss the case.
Some cases require only a brief discussion, and we can provide quick, efficient support to resolve the issue without unnecessary delay.
For more complex cases, we offer in-depth guidance that includes a thorough review of the patient’s history, previous diagnostics, current treatment plan, and any additional considerations.
No matter the level of support needed, our services are tailored to each individual case, ensuring personalised, high-quality assistance every time.
A written report can also be provided upon request.
Have several questions about different cases you’ve seen during the day (or week)? Or would you like to review treatment plans for your hospitalized patients at the start or end of your day? We’re here to help.
Rounds are designed to provide an opportunity to discuss the cases you have collected over the past day(s) or week(s) with a specialist. Each case will be reviewed individually, with an emphasis on your chosen topic of interest (diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, etc.). For rounds, it is expected that the primary veterinarian prepares the cases in advance so that all relevant information is readily available for discussion. The specialist will not review the cases beforehand but will go through them in real time.
Rounds may be attended by multiple veterinarians, each bringing their own cases. This format also provides a valuable teaching opportunity for collaborative learning. You’ll walk away feeling prepared, and ready with a plan after every session.
